Let's talk "productivity". Increased productivity (producing more) is one possible outcome of an investment in better systems. But that's not the only possible goal. So if you're talking about ease, convenience, being more organized, then say that (or whatever you actually mean) instead. It's more precise, and you won't be subtly endorsing a worldview centered on indefinite economic growth or treating people like resources to be exploited.
